Something that has been weighing pretty heavy on my heart lately is the issue of pride. Pride is such a nasty thing, and yet we allow it to overwhelm us at times. Sometimes I find it really hard to recognize. Sometimes I don’t even realize the condition of my own heart.
I can be completely seeking God, and trying my hardest to be obedient to His will, and yet find myself becoming prideful about that very thing. That’s why I believe it is so important for us to CONTINUALLY ask God to search our hearts, and purify us from things that we might not even realize are happening to us.
So, this morning, I wake up and decide that I’m going to blog about it, and just kind of share my heart. I open up Safari, and there it is. At the top of my Google Reader. “Which One”, a post by Iman Serna. I open it, read it, and I say to myself, “that’s it!” So, I encourage you today to head over to his blog, and check a great post on the difference between arrogance and confidence. You will be encouraged and challenged.
