Obedience…

I’m brought to tears this morning as I pray for my brother, Scott Mocha, who is about to leave for the greatest adventure of his life. They are tears of joy and sadness. Over the last few years, Scott has become part of our family, sharing special moments with us, big and small. (and he’s always there to snap the photos, so those moments aren’t soon forgotten) While we are sad to see him leave, we are overjoyed with what the future holds for him.

This morning I am inspired by Scott’s obedience… This man is literally giving up everything to answer the call that God has placed on his life. He’s not just talking about doing it…. he’s living it out. He’s giving up his comfortable life here to go be a part of something that is bigger than himself.

Scott, your trust in God, and your obedience to His purpose for your life is inspiring! Know that you will be blessed more than you can imagine. Keep seeking His face. The people of Paris need a man of God that will be on his face everyday, crying out to God, interceding for them. You are that man.

I’m so excited for the people of Paris!

We love you Scott!

1 John 3:24
All who keep His commandments [who obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and] abide in Him, and He in them. [They let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ.] And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He [really] lives and makes His home in us: by the [Holy] Spirit Whom He has given us.
